How You Can Serve on the Small Stories about Big Things Book Launch Team this Fall

1. Purchase a Copy of the Book – Pre-order on Kindle or buy a paperback copy (at Lark & Owl in Georgetown or on Amazon on Thursday, September 26 or after).

2. Provide a Review of Amazon – Honest reviews can significantly boost visibility.

3. Share on Social Media - Post about the book on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, or whatever your preferred platforms are. You can share your thoughts, favorite quotes, or do a fun photo with it.

4. Order a Few Copies of the Book! – Like Tuesdays with Morrie and other books of that flavor, Small Stories about Big Things is a book I created so that it could be given away. It’s a source of encouragement, timely reflection, and inspiration. So… if you want to order in bulk (10+ copies) for your staff, faith community, family, or friends, email me directly for pricing – and I will place the order through my self-publisher.

(Bonus! Those local to Georgetown/Austin who purchase in bulk – I am happy to come to your community to do a book signing, discussion, and/or gathering with your community. Let me know!)

5. Text or Email - Send a brief, personal note to a contact(s) who might benefit from the

book’s stories, encouraging them to check it out.

6. Feature the Book in an Upcoming Newsletter - If you have a newsletter, consider highlighting Small Stories about Big Things and why you think it’s important for your audience.

7. Converse with me on your Podcast (or Recommend me to Podcasters) - If you have a podcast or know podcasters, I’d love to discuss the book and the relevant themes!

8. Invite me to Speak at an Upcoming Gathering – The themes of the book – calling, belonging, leadership, and grace – are highly relevant to for-profit and non-profit groups, and I tailor talks/workshops to your setting and desired focus. I also do talks/workshops specifically on the craft of storytelling.

9. Host a Virtual “Meet the Author” or “Authors in Conversation”: Organize a virtual (Zoom, LinkedIn Live, etc) gathering for peers and colleagues to discuss the themes of the book with peers or colleagues. Or, it could be an event with a couple of authors discussing their books, processes, and intersecting themes (perhaps you yourself would be that author?!)

NOTE: I am happy to provide you with any promotional copy or graphics you might want to use should that help with the roll-out of some of the options above. Thank you again!
