Bobby Hulme-Lippert is a leadership keynote speaker, executive coach, and author based in Oak Park, Illinois. He speaks to associations, cooperatives, and nonprofit organizations about leading clearly under pressure and building teams where people stay and memberships that grow.

Bobby holds a Doctor of Ministry in Leadership and Organizational Culture Change, is an ICF-credentialed coach and a Certified Birkman Professional, and served as a US Army Chaplain. He spent two decades leading nonprofit organizations, including a turnaround from deficit to three consecutive surplus years.

Yes. Bobby is based in the Chicago area and speaks nationally.

Fees & Local Options
Keynote fees begin at $6,000. Workshop and multi-session engagements are scoped based on your event goals and team size.
Bobby is Illinois-based — local and regional associations often qualify for reduced travel costs.
Every engagement includes a pre-event planning call and content customized to your audience at no additional charge.
A/V & Stage Requirements
Slides
I present with a PowerPoint deck (no audio/video). Because each program is customized, I typically provide slides within one week of the event and always bring backup copies.
Stage
I don’t use a podium. If one is required, please place it off to the side. I move across the stage and, when possible, into the audience.
Microphone
A wireless lavalier mic is preferred. A handheld works if needed. Please have one available on site.
Tech Check
I’m glad to arrive early for a tech/sound check—ideally the day of the event. I typically arrive at least an hour before the keynote unless additional time is needed.
Anything else?
My goal is to be one of the easiest speakers you work with. If you need something, just ask - I’m glad to accommodate.

Bobby Hulme-Lippert helps leaders in fast-moving industries stay clear-eyed when the pace never lets up — and build teams that still tell each other the truth.
In college, friends nicknamed Bobby "The Mission" — he was always racing somewhere. Two decades of leading organizations through growth, crisis, and change, including service as a US Army Chaplain, taught him what he now teaches: getting grounded is what lets a leader stand tall. When the pressure never breaks, the first thing a leader loses is vision. Colleagues blur into tasks. Problems blur into threats. Eventually leaders blur into their own calendars. His Rooted framework gives teams a practical way to see clearly again and lead with confidence.
He opened Texas Electric Cooperatives' conference for a room of 130 and was brought back four more times that year. Valley Industrial Association called his keynote their best Culture Day yet. In 2027 he keynotes the National Association of Activity Professionals' national conference.
Beyond his keynotes, Bobby leads team intensives that show a group what's actually driving behavior in the room — and what to do about it. He is the author of Small Stories about Big Things and lives in Oak Park, Illinois.
